14-day right to cancel

If you are a consumer, you can cancel before delivery or within 14 days starting the day after you receive the goods, without giving a reason. If your order arrives in several deliveries, the 14 days start after the last item arrives.

How to cancel

1. Email info@grecutech.com with your name, order number and the items you want to return. A clear statement is enough; you do not have to use a form.
2. Return items to the address below. You do not need our approval to cancel; asking for instructions does not affect your rights.
3. Send the items back within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling, and keep proof of postage.

Condition of returned items

You may handle an item as you would in a shop to check it. If an item has been used beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value. Please return items with their accessories and, where possible, in their original packaging.

Return costs

If you cancel because you changed your mind, you pay the direct cost of sending the item back. If an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we cover reasonable return costs.

Refunds

For cancellation of a whole order, we refund the price of the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Our standard DPD delivery is free. Any extra charge for a premium service need not be refunded. We refund within 14 days of receiving the items back or proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. If no goods need returning, we refund within 14 days of being told of cancellation. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, at no extra cost.

Faulty or incorrect items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. You normally have 30 days from delivery to reject goods that do not meet these requirements for a full refund. After that, you can usually require a repair or replacement at no cost, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. If one repair or replacement fails, is unavailable, or is not provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you can usually seek a price reduction or reject the goods for a refund. A deduction for use may apply to a final refund after six months.

For repair or replacement claims, a fault appearing within six months is generally presumed to have existed at delivery unless we show otherwise or the presumption is incompatible with the goods or fault. Your rights do not end after six months. For rejected faulty goods, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to a refund. Contact info@grecutech.com with a description of the problem; a photograph may help but is not a condition of your rights.

This summarises UK consumer rights. Customers in the Republic of Ireland retain mandatory protections under applicable Irish law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022. The UK six-month explanation does not limit stronger rights that apply to you.
